Staff Highlight: Samantha

Samantha started working at Woodcrest in early 2019 as PRN staff and became full-time shortly thereafter. Sam is from Northern Kentucky. She played soccer for Holy Cross and went on to play Division I soccer for the University of Alabama at Birmingham while obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Upon graduating, she was accepted into the University of Kentucky’s graduate program, where she completed her coursework for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Our residents love working with Sam in therapy because of her positive, fun attitude and expertise in her field. Many residents have nicknames for Sam and seek her out just to chat and joke. In her free time, Sam is very active! She loves to spend time with her family and fur babies, travel, garden, cook and play/watch sports. She recently returned from maternity leave after welcoming her first baby, Sammy.

Thank you, Sam, for all the hard work and love you put into the resident care here! We are so appreciative to have such a great Physical Therapist on our team at Woodcrest!
